What shoes do you own? Docs, sneakers, sandals, slippers, several pairs of heels in various colors, two pairs of knee-high boots, and various types of dance shoes (ballet slippers, toe shoes, tap shoes, jazz sneakers, dance sandals, etc.) - sorry there's a lot but I AM a girl...

What was the last book you read? Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes (it kicked ass)

What's the best thing you've ever bought? Probably my TV - I use it quite a lot and enjoy it just about every time I use it - I'd consider that quite a good investment

What's the worst thing you've ever bought? UM...I hate buying new foods at the store and then when I try them they turn out fucking disgusting - does that count?

What's the best thing you've ever been given? Artwork from my students - I love every single piece!

What's the worst thing you've ever been given? My mom gave me a potato-masher when I graduated college...

What are your future goals? Get my masters (maybe even my doctorate) so I can teach at a university, and move somewhere less stressful

Describe your bedroom? Seafoam walls decorated with 1-an awesome painting Sydney made for me 2-a truly lovely picture of our school stage that the drama club kids all signed for me 3-the masks Sydney made for Girl Meets Guy, white dresser (covered in photos of me & Alex), Alex's black drafting table (covered in artwork & tools), queen-sized bed, and two large and extremely overstuffed bookshelves

What's your most embarrassing moment? The time I spaced out during a performance of Tartuffe and completely (and very obviously) missed my cue

Who do you consider the most beautiful woman in the world? Wendy (she's a very little woman still, but she counts)

Favorite thing to do on a hot summers day? Go to the beach with Jenny

Favorite thing to do on a snowy winters day? Play outside then come inside, sit by a fire, and drink cocoa while reading a book

If you were granted 3 wishes, what would they be? 1-A long, healthy, happy, and fulfilling life for Wendy, 2-to someday have all my questions answered, 3-for all life on earth to live in a harmonious symbiosis now and for forever more

If you could go back in time to see or change something, when would it be and what would you do? I'll not go into details but it involves a poor decision on my father's part made about ten years ago and the repercussions of this choice were all entirely negative and are still affecting me & the people I love to this very day

What's the first thing you think about when you wake up? Wendy

What exactly were you doing on September 11th as the terrorist attacks were being carried out in America? Subbing for third graders, many of whom asked me if their parents were going to have to go to war

Have you ever been in love? Still am

Do you believe in the after-life? Yeppers, and it's gonna ROCK!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time? As the mother of a precocious 10-year-old, hopefully teaching at a university somewhere less stressful

If you could choose your own death, how would you go? Something with a bit of a warning to it (so those who love & will miss me will have time to prepare a bit mentally & emotionally) and preferably something with little or no physical pain on my part

Would you ever consider having plastic surgery? NO FUCKING WAY

What's the funniest joke you've ever been told? Alex's joke about the duck going into the bar asking for grapes (I'd type it all out but it's quite long)

Do you have any regrets in life? Um, I suppose, but most of them contributed to who I am now

What advice would you give to a kid? Always believe in fairies

Any hidden talents? I'm afraid the things I think I am secretly quite good at would actually look ridiculously pale if ever brought out into the light
